Sample menu planner

Print the sample menu and use it to help you plan nutritionally complete meals for you and your growing baby.

One day meal

  • Breakfast
    1 bowl of porridge or wholegrain
    cereal with low-fat milk
    1 - 2 slices of wholemeal toast
    banana 1 banana
    1 glass of fruit juice
  • Mid-morning
    Fruit scone
    Low fat spread
    grapes Small bunch of grapes
    Cup of tea / coffee
  • Lunch
    pasta Pasta salad
    Crusty bread roll
    Fresh fruit
  • Mid-afternoon
    Scrambled eggs on toast
    toast Fresh fruit
  • Main Meal
    Grilled salmon
    potato Baked or boiled potatoes
    Mixed salad / cooked vegetables
    Chopped fresh fruit & a pot of fromage frais
  • Before Bedtime
    Cup of hot chocolate & 2 biscuits
