Muscle in on some fun

Having cruised around the furniture for a few months, your toddler's about to go solo.

He will soon make the jump to walking, running, and bouncing about - a truly exciting milestone!

As his second birthday draws closer, it'll be much clearer whether he's right or left-handed. He'll prefer using his dominant side to scribble, kick a ball and feed himself. He'll even be able to brush his teeth… with a little help and supervision!

As the links between the motor part of your toddler's brain and spinal cord strengthen still further, he'll become much more active, climbing, jumping and running about.

This isn't the only thing behind your baby's physical development - making sure his diet stays healthy and balanced plays a crucial role. He also needs plenty of practice using these newfound motor skills in order to strengthen his muscles and improve his agility - so get down to his level and get involved!
