With increased dexterity and confidence comes increased independence but it's a mixed blessing for many parents. On the one hand, it's amazing to see your little bundle out there in the world, but it comes with frustrations that show themselves in uncontrollable outbursts.
There isn't much you can do to prevent the occasional terrible tantrum in public, but there are so many special moments on the way as your child really begins to become his own little person and your relationship blossoms.
This is a truly special age. So take time to enjoy it!
