Development

This is a time of energetic exploration in all directions, with an appetite to match!

Just keeping up with your toddler can be a challenge, particularly as he asserts his blossoming independence at the table.

But parents have always kept a few solutions up their sleeves - and we've quite a few here to help make food fun as well as healthy. There are relatively few foods your toddler shouldn't eat, but a healthy balanced diet, rich in nutrients, is still very important as he grows.

All of which means that exciting times lie ahead - with plenty of choice to explore, and a new pair of willing hands in the kitchen!

Did you know? Because your toddler's tummy is still not much larger than a coffee mug, but his energy needs are up to three times greater than yours, kilo for kilo, he still needs a diet full of foods rich in energy and nutrients.
