"Grab a coffee"
7th Jul, 2010

Has anyone noticed the "make yourself comfy and grab yourself a coffee" line at the strat of the forum? It's torture for me! I was a major coffee drinker pre pregancy but after reading that 2 cups a day should be the max I switched to de-caf. It was ok for the first week or so but then it just tasted wrong...has anyone else had the same problem? Can anyone recommend a decent brand of de-caf??

I thought that would be a major problem for me too, but Insomnia make a decent decaf. I still drink a cup of normal coffee in the morning. Just heard that some specialists recommend to quit coffee completely! Not sure now about my morning kick... Should we just forget about coffee for a while?

I'm not trying to scare anyone but decaf has been linked to cancer studies. So be careful. Research this a bit further before sticking to the decaf

I was an espresso monster until i got pregnant, but decided it was easier to go with decaf instaed of counting the cups. Union is a really nice brand you can buy in most health shops - they decaffeinate naturally using no chemicals so no fear of carcinogens. No caffeine either but it does taste like coffee, which is nice.
