Hi im 17 weeks and its my first baby. When should i start to feel my baby move?

You probably won't feel your baby kick until sometime between 16 and 22 weeks, even though he started moving at 7 or 8 weeks, it can feel more like butterfies in your tummy sometimes.

Thanks. I have felt flutters alright but not sure if its baby or not. Hopefully i will feel more movement in the next few weeks.

I was 19 weeks when i first felt my baby move u will feel it more as time goes by n d baby gets bigger :)

The flutters is your baby moving but the kick won't get stronger till about week 20 or 21 when you will definitely realise that you are being kicked. I'm 23 weeks gone on first baby and I can feel it the whole time now. I was really anxious to feel something in those early stages and it is such a relief when the kicks do get stronger as you feel you're not imagining things anymore.

I could only feel slight flutters until about 20-25 weeks, now the little bugger is keeping me up at night the kicks are so regular and definately noticable, it truely is an incredible experience feeling your baby grow and experiencing those first kicks and wriggles, good luck with everything :D

i was the same, around 17 weeks i wasnt sure if what i was feeling was the baby the move, im now 23 weeks and can feel definate kicks and wriggles:)

I felt the flutters at 17 weeks but like everyone else I was unsure about what it was! Im 19 weeks now and can feel definite movements, im guessing little wriggles and kicks, it gets stronger by the day! Enjoy it!

Hi im just about 18 weeks now on my first and i can feel faint 'pops' since 16 weeks. not a hole lot stronger yet but its definatly the baby :) i havnt felt these flutters or butterfly feelings tho? i cant wait til they get stronger so my partner can feel them too :) good luck to all x
