2. The site and its contents are designed to comply with Irish laws and regulations and are intended for use by Irish residents only. Cow and Gate makes no warranty or representation that any information contained in this site is relevant or appropriate to other locations.
3. This site offers you the option of viewing information about Cow and Gate infant milks. If you choose to view this information you are accepting that Cow and Gate is supplying this information at your individual request for information and education purposes only. Cow and Gate makes no warranty or representation as to the reliability, accuracy or completeness of such information.

FORUM TERMS & CONDITIONS

These Rules and the Terms and Conditions govern the use of the Cow and Gate forum. By agreeing to abide and be bound by feedingforlife.ie Terms and Conditions, you agree to use Cow & Gate’s forum in accordance with the following Rules.

Regarding your posts:

1. No disruptive, offensive or abusive behaviour: contributions must be polite and constructive, not mean-spirited or contributed with the intention of causing trouble.
2. No objectionable or unlawful content: harassing, abusive, defamatory, harmful, threatening, obscene, sexually oriented, racially offensive, profane, or otherwise objectionable material is not acceptable.
3. Contributions must be civil, tasteful, relevant and genuine.
4. Please don't re-submit your contribution to more than one discussion, or contribute material which is off-topic in subject-specific areas. No spamming: we don't allow the submission of the same or very similar contributions many times.
5. No advertising or promoting of any kind.
6. No impersonation or misrepresentaion of your identity or affiliation with any third party.
7. Do not use inappropriate (e.g. offensive, vulgar, etc) user names.
8. You may add URL's to the forum - but these must not link to sites containing off-topic material or be of an obscene nature.
9. No material must be posted for which you have not obtained all necessary consent, licences, or approvals.
10. No material must be posted that is in breach of any legal duty owed to a third party, such as a contractual duty or duty of confidence.
11. We will not be responsible as author, editor or publisher of any contribution and we expressly exclude our liability for any loss or damage arising from use of the forum by any person in contravention of these Rules. We reserve the right to promptly remove, or to disable access to, any contribution.

Using your posts:

From time to time we may wish to use content that you have posted. By using the site, you agree that we may use such content for any purpose, commercial or otherwise, without compensation.

Safety:

For safety and security reasons, we advise that you never reveal any personal information about yourself or anyone else. This could be, for example: a telephone number, home address or email address. If you have a useful address to share, please inform the host of the forum area using the 'Contact Us' link, and they will promote it if they deem it appropriate. Please do not include postal addresses of any kind.

About the law:

1. Defamatory or illegal material of any kind may not be submitted in to any Cow & Gate forums. This includes: graphics, text, video, programs or audio downloads.
2. Contributing material, with the intention of committing or promoting an illegal act, is strictly prohibited.
3. You agree to only submit materials which are your own original work. You must not plagiarise, violate, or infringe the rights of third parties. This includes: copyright, trade secrets, trade mark, publicity, privacy, personal or proprietary rights.
4. The views featured in the Cow & Gate forum areas come from members of the public. They are not necessarily those of Nutricia or its affiliates.

1. Please get a parent's or guardian's permission before taking part in any discussion.
2. Cow and Gate advises parents and guardians, who permit persons under 18 years to use the forum, to communicate to them about safety online.

If you breach these Terms of Use:

1. Failing to abide by these Rules when taking part in our forum, constitutes a material breach of the terms of use on which you are permitted to take part in the forum. This will result in you being sent an email which informs you as to why your contribution has been failed, edited, removed or suspended. This email will also warn you that continuing to break the rules may result in action being taken against you.
2. This action may include your registration log in account being placed into pre-moderation or a temporary or permanent suspension. This will prevent you from participating in any or all of the Cow & Gate forum areas.
3. If you post or send offensive or inappropriate content, or otherwise engage in any disruptive behaviour on Cow & Gate, and we consider such behaviour to be serious and/or repeated, we may use whatever information that is available about you to stop any further such infringements. This may include informing relevant third parties such as your employer, school or email provider about the infringements.
4. We reserve the right to delete any contribution, or take action against any account, at any time, for any reason.
5. We reserve the right to disclose information regarding your contribution to any law enforcement agency as we reasonably feel is necessary or as is required by law.

FORUM HOUSE RULES

1. People of all ages and backgrounds are welcome on our forums. So always be polite and respectful towards others. If you consider someone is being offensive or rude in any way, please report it.
2. Try not to post messages that aren't in any way relevant to the topic at hand. If there's something else you want to talk about, you can always start a new discussion by creating a new thread.
3. Keep your messages clear and easy to read. When you're online and not face to face with people, it's easy for misunderstandings or ambiguities to arise. So please read and check your messages before you post them on the boards.
4. Be conscientious regarding your privacy. Your profile and messages are 'out there' on the web for anyone to see. So take care in what you say about yourself or others. Never, for instance, post your phone number, address or bank details.

YOU & ME Pregnancy Pack for the Feeding For Life Programme (the Promotion) Terms & Conditions

1. The Promotion is administered and managed by the promoter, Nutricia Ireland Limited (Promoter) of 70 Sir John Rogerson's Quay, Dublin 2, Ireland.
2. Participants must register to the Cow & Gate Feeding for Life Programme to obtain the YOU & ME Pregnancy Pack. Participants can register to receive their YOU & ME Pregnancy Pack at www.cowandgate.ie, or contact Cow & Gate's Careline on free-phone 1800 570570 or email help@cowandgate.ie, or fill out and return their GP form available in participating GPs in the Republic of Ireland.
3. By registering for the Promotion the participant agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions.
4. The Promotion is open to R.O.I residents of the Republic of Ireland aged 18 years and over.
5. Employees of the Promoter, their agents and families are excluded from participating in the Promotion.
6. No purchase necessary.
7. The Promotion begins on 1 July 2009 and finishes 31 December 2010.
8. The YOU & ME Pregnancy Pack is subject to availability and while stocks last. There is no cash alternative to the pack.
9. Only one application per participant. Only one YOU & ME Pregnancy Pack per participant.
10. The YOU & ME Pregnancy Pack is redeemable only by persons who are pregnant at time of registration.
11. Pregnant persons already registered on the Feeding For Life Programme will receive a YOU & ME Pregnancy Pack provided they are still pregnant on 17th June 2009.
12. Members of the Feeding for Life Programme who update their details as being pregnant will also receive the YOU & ME Pregnancy Pack.
13. The YOU & ME Pregnancy Pack contains 1 x voucher booklet, 1 x nutritional DVD and 1 x information leaflet.
14. The YOU & ME Pregnancy Pack is as stated in these terms and conditions, however, the Promoter reserves the right at its sole discretion to alter the YOU & ME Pregnancy Pack or substitute the YOU & ME Pregnancy Pack with that of equal or greater value for any reason and without notification to you.
15. Participants will receive their YOU & ME Pregnancy Pack by post within 28 days of registering. The Promoter does not take responsibility for any delays or difficulties experienced in submitting an entry to the Promotion or for delays in delivering the YOU & ME Pregnancy Pack
16. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Promoter shall not be held liable for any loss or damage howsoever caused, whether in contract or tort (including without limitation negligence, fraud or malicious act), statutory or otherwise, arising out of or in connection with the Promotion or the YOU & ME Pregnancy Pack.
17. No warranty or guarantee is given by the Promoter in relation to the YOU & ME Pregnancy Pack.

22. By registering for the Promotion, the participant agrees to become a member of the Cow & Gate Feeding For Life Programme and will continue to receive communications from the Promoter in connection with the Promotion via mail, email or sms from time to time, unless you have unsubscribed/opted out. Participants can unsubscribe/opt out at any time by logging into your account on www.cowandgate.ie.

Terms & Conditions - Free Prize Draw

7. The Lynch Hotels prize includes 3 nights accommodation, full Irish breakfast each morning and 2 evening dinners and use of full hotel facilities. The offer is valid for 2 adults and a maximum of 3 children per couple. Valid for one year from the date of receipt of prize. There are three Lynch Hotels vouchers to be won.
